WHAT HAPPENED?
The defender was in the perfect place at the perfect time, slamming home a poor corner kick attempt that did not reach its intended target. The botched attempt was short and low, but it landed at the feet of Robinson, who fired home in clutch fashion.
His 68th-minute strike ended up being the game-winner, defeating Xherdan Shaqiri and the Fire.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Robinson is a locked-in member of the USMNT at the moment, and widely considered the best central defender in MLS. His contract with Atlanta United expired at the end of the 2023 season, and instead of heading to Europe, he signed with FCC.
Now, he's off to a killer start with his new club, finding the back of the net on just his second league appearance with them.
